I've had a website since 1995. My very first site, which isn't recorded here, was built with Tripod's site generator, lasted six months, while I learned html by looking at source codes for other people's sites and occasionally visiting html goodies. Since then, until this current incarnation of deliciously.org, I have always handcoded. However, I never bothered learning CSS or any other technology created after 1998, so don't be surprised if everything I do looks like something you saw that year.

I've kept most of my files from those old sites, and I have screencaps for most of the rest. I wrote out the sad truth about each one, but even I was bored to death. Instead, here's a visual tour, in chronological order, and keep in mind that this is for pure amusement and pity.

And that's it. I switched back over to deliciously.org from LiveJournal in the summer of 2005 but used the basic template that Movable Type provides for six months before getting this design together. I don't know how long the design will last, but I'm glad to be away from LiveJournal and using my own site again.
